Personal Thoughts
This is a very informative book. For shear information, this book goes beyond the original movie book, and gives us an even closer look at the processes that go into creating, and shooting a movie. Most importantly, you learn about COA. For the skeptic and nay-sayer alike, this book helps to dispel a lot of constant charges that the movie was just thrown together. I enjoyed the movie, but after reading this book I found a greater appreciation for what they were TRYING to do. I highlight the word "trying" because I think the movie fell victim to circumstances outside the control of the makers (see the COA review for more details). I never realized how much thought process goes into movies. For those who enjoyed COA, this will only help to further your enjoyment of the movie. For those who felt the movie was just a moneymaking venture and nothing more, you will get to see just how much work was put into it. Though the final product may be flawed, the effort was there to make a good movie, and the book does a very good job in documenting this.
