The “Wicked” Summer Contest

Hello fellow Crownees. Hope your summer has been a good one. Not sure if you are aware, there is a little film coming out on VHS & DVD on July 19 th that we in the Crow world might be interested in. It is called THE CROW: WICKED PRAYER .

To celebrate the arrival of a new Crow movie as well as take a break from these dog days of summer (those in the summer months that is), we thought it would be great to see if we could scrounge up some items to offer other fans as part of a “Wicked” summer contest. The final list of items is still being collected, but included in there so far are copies of the new Crow movie, THE CROW: WICKED PRAYER on DVD as well as some items from all three previous films. As I said, we are continuing to work on other items and once we have the full bounty, we will let everyone know what is up for grabs.

So how do you qualify for this stuff? Everyone who is a registered member of the ChambeRoom, CrowColl and Murder of Crows newsletter is automatically entered. If you are currently not a member of any, or all of those forums, get out and sign up! Only those persons that are signed up as members of those forums will be eligible. You can be signed up for all three which helps out your chances.

Now that we have the eligibility out of the way, how do you win? It is easy. On August 1 st , we will take all of the persons registered in the forums mentioned above and put their name in a database, then print off all the names and put them in a bucket. We will write down all the prizes we have and throw those into a separate bucket. We will draw a prize and then draw a name to go with that prize. We will do that for however many prizes we have. Make sure if you are signed up at either the ChambeRoom or CrowColl that you have a valid email address listed so if you win, we can contact you!

You can have your name in the bucket up to three times IF you are a member of all three forums but no more than three times. Please don't try and create different accounts or user names at the forums. Honesty is the best policy here. We have a list of everyone who is currently a member of all three, so we will be able to tell if someone is trying to stack the odds in their favor by creating new bogus accounts. Nothing is fool proof, but as I said, lets be honest to one another J

If you are signing up for the ChambeRoom or CrowColl for the very first time, make sure to get into these forums and check out the discussions going on. They are not just for the Crow world, but for everything that is going on around us. The Murder of Crows newsletter goes out once a month, usually by the 15 th . It has a combination of all the big news we have reported at ABaHB as well as other information that may not exactly be headline variety, but is nice to know information for the average Crow fan out there.
