Wicked Prayer Release In Germany Gains Steam

Jens Grohmann from Germany sent along this link to a German site that lists upcoming movie releases in Germany. As reported at IMDB, they list February 3rd, 2005, for a release date. This isn't "official" confirmation, but it does seem to be in line with previous reports we have seen. As we have come to learn, ANY reports outside of official channels need to be taken at face value. Still no word on release dates for other countries, so those in the UK, Australia, U.S., France, etc, continue to wait and see.

The production continues to wait on various administrative and post production processes to be finished up. The word is VERY positive on the latest cut of the film and it still looks like the film will be delivered to Miramax/Dimension in November/December time frame. Of course, then we must wait for Dimension to figure out what they want to do with the film. Given what we have seen and information from the production, Dimension should be pleased with the end results. As we reported, there is a lot of personnel shifting going on at Miramax/Dimension, so beyond the normal stuff, the film will have to fight for its release with all that going on. Nothing is ever easy in the Crow world :)

Edward Furlong Arrested Trying To Free Lobsters

Well, seems Wicked Prayer star Edward Furlong had a bit of trouble with the police in Kentucky recently. Check out the link here for the full details (or here for pictures from his latest featue). Bad thing publicity wise, he and friends were not exactly sober when this incident took place. Such is the luck of The Crow lately.

Thanks to DJ & YSM of Crowcoll.

Take care....

Robert Zuckerman Puts Pictures & Thoughts To September 11th

Once again Robert Zuckerman has sent us something that is beyond words. He was traveling on September 11th. His family lives in Florida, so the hurricans have been close to home for him. Take a look at these two shots and Robert's reflections.

ABaHB Looks Back On Sept 11th, 2001 & Beyond

Like so many around the world, we take time today to remember the horrific events of September 11th. You can view our news archive from September 11th, 2001 to revisit our thoughts.

But as we remember September 11th, events such as those in Russia serve to remind us terrorism is a
global scurge. Where a group of persons, with no regard for life or humanity, seek to try and bend the
will of others through hateful attacks. It is this hate the whole world fights against every day. It is a
fight which must never be taken for granted.

Our good friend DJ from over at Crowcoll sent us this audio clip he put together of archive audio from
September 11th. Give it a listen.

We do not remember to dwell on the pain. But we remember so we may grow stronger in the knowledge that we have survived, we have gone on and we WILL never stop striving for peace and harmony in a free society.

Take care....

Robert Zuckerman Still & Poem

Our good friend Robert Zuckerman (still photographer for the first 2 Crow films) sent us this still and poem by him in reflection of the devastating hurricanes that have hit the Florida area. Robert is a native Floridian, so these storms have hit close to home for him. This photograph and poem are emotional.

Thanks to Robert for sending this to us.

Various Updates

We hope you are on the Murder of Crows newsletter list. If not, get signed up. We announced the winners of the Embrace The Fall contest, sponsored by DragonFly Productions. Thirteen lucky folks won Crow sketchbooks and lunchboxes for merely sending us their worst school horror story. One grand prize winner, Stephen Griffin of NY, took home not only the sketchbook and lunchbox, but also will receive an artist proof of the Return Crow statue offered by DragonFly.

Thanks to everyone that entered the contest and to DragonFly for once again offering great prizes for our visitors.

There continues to be no "official" word on Wicked Prayer. We are waiting on some feedback from feelers we have put out to our sources. It still appears to be late this year (November or December) that would be the earliest we can expect the film to be out, in whatever form it does come out in (theatrical or direct to video). Germany , according to IMDB, will get the film in March of 2005. As we have seen with previous release dates, there is really no confirmation of these dates; though March does seem to be a legit time frame given the information we have been told. So we, like the rest of you, continue to wait and see.

Take care.....
