Various Crow Updates

Our good friend David Jeffers of the Crowcoll site has passed on some really cool information that we wanted to get out to everyone.  David found two new postcards at Hot Topic click here and here to see them.

Hot topic also has the "Cathedral Poster" in a smaller version. (Standard Wall Poster Size 2ft X 4ft).

David, while checking out items at Spencer Gifts, met a comic fan to end all comic fans, his screen name is "EvilutionX".

He is a huge O'Barr fan, and is nuts over "The Crow". David asked him what new "Crow" merchandise they had. E mentioned the 18" NECA figure coming to their store next month, and showed David the log where they are also shipping to "Spencer Gifts" a "Crow Two Pack"... Not real sure what that's going to be, but it's also from NECA, and will be available at "Spencer Gifts”.

Thanks to David for this update. Sounds like some great stuff coming out soon.

Take care…..

Wicked Prayer Listed In Variety Sell Document

Thanks to our friend Gabi from the Furlong fan site, she found the following listing of Wicked Prayer in a listing put out by Variety (you will need to page down or just do a ctrl F and search on “Wicked”. Gabi notes that Wicked Prayer is listed right before an announcement of the Cannes film festival. Perhaps the trailer or the movie itself may make an appearance there. We shall see.

Thanks to Gabi.

New Fan-made Crow Film Surfaces

Our good friend Michael Swain sent us this link to what looks like a highly publicized fan-made Crow film. The link leads you to their site and a trailer. It looks decent, though the trailer hardly gives you much to judge anything on. Thanks to Michael for sending this along:

Good News & Bad News For Crow Music Alums

Marco Beltrami (composer for The Crow: Salvation & recently Hellboy) will score director Alex Proyas' “I, Robot”, starring Will Smith. Beltrami has just begun composing and will record the score in Los Angeles beginning on May 21 (a double Crow connection with that movie). On the negative side, Klaus Badelt has replaced Graeme Revell (scores for The Crow & The Crow: City of Angels ) and William Orbit as the composer for Warner Bros “Catwoman”. No reason for the replacement was given.

Thanks to Comingsoon & Music From the Movies .

Take care….
