The Official James O'Barr Site Is Finally Up
Fans who have long waited for an official site to open up for James O'Barr, your wait is over. JamesObarr.com has opened up. It has some pretty cool sections, to include a Q&A section (James will pick 10 questions a month to answer and those will be posted on the site), merchandise, projects and news updates. The site is still under construction, but the bulk of it is available. Hopefully it is kept more up to date than previous efforts. Go give it a look.

Latest News On Crow 4
There are two reports out on the net in regard to what the story premise of Crow 4 is, as well as the director/writer. There was a report posted from Nintendo that leaked out information before the OK was given by Pressman Films or Miramax. Dark Horizons picked up that information on Monday, though they have used the wrong name (Winged Prayer instead of Wicked Prayer). We are attempting to find out what information can be released at this time and will post it here as soon as we can.

O'Barr Report From Motor City Comic Con
ChambeRoom veteran Zerstorung has reported back from the Motor City Comic Con with this O'Barr information:
O'Barr confirmed that the original Crow graphic novel will be re-printed by 'Pocket Books'. it will be the same version that was released by kitchen sink.
He says he's still working on the "author's edition" that will be released in 8-12 issues and will have new covers, redrawn pages and added pages. I have no idea when this will be done, but I talked to David Napoliello, publisher of Peregrine Entertainment (the company who put out O'Barr's Savages) and he said he hopes to publish the author's edition when it comes out. He also said O'Barr has been working on a vampire western story for him and he hopes to publish that as well (again, if it ever gets done.)
O'Barr also said he's still working on his Batman story (don't hold your breath) and Gothik is no more finished than it was a year ago.
Major thanks to Zerstorung for passing this information on. Looks like there is a lot on O'Barr's plate. Let us hope he gets these things out before we all starve to death!
Take care.....come what may

ABaHB's Very Own CrowFinder Is Published
Our very own staff writer, CrowFinder, has become a published artist! She created the artwork for a new children's book entitled "Briny The Starfish". The book, which is for children 10 and below, is available now for order. We are very proud of CrowFinder and know that this is just the beginning of a wonderful career for her! Here is a synopsis of the story:
"Even the smallest of us can make a big difference." Through the characters of Briny the Starfish and Bright Star, children learn about Christian principles. Briny's strong desire to leave the sea and experience the light helps him to gain knowledge about faith, hope, joy and love, as well as truth, honor, responsibility and patience. While learning about these, Briny also learns that it's not what's on the outside, but what's on the inside, that really counts.
If you would like to order this book, contact me at llcruize@yahoo.com and I will give you all the information. Again, we congratulate CrowFinder.
Take care.....come what may.

Fan Creation Highlighted
We have a treat for you this week! As everyone knows, we like to highlight fan creations here at ABaHB. One of those creative fans is Lin Gabehart. He is a fan of all of the Crow movies and comics. This love for the Crow has carried over into her other passion, which is creating figures, based on her favorite movie characters. He has created an Eric, Ashe and Alex figure. As well as her Crow creations, she has created a Highlander, Indiana Jones, and Snake Plissken and is working on Lestat and Louis from INTERVIEW WITH A VAMPIRE.
Not satisfied with the current Crow figures from the likes of McFarlane, Lin decided to create his own versions that were more pose able. Being a martial arts instructor, he was already familiar with Brandon Lee prior to his taking on the role of Eric Draven in the first film. So when he decided to create figures from the Crow movies, Eric Draven was a natural starting point.
We are going to feature each Crow figure that Lin has created. With each picture of the figure, we will include instructions from Lin on how he created the figure. If you would like to ask him any questions about creating your own figure you can email him your questions. He does not take orders for the figures because of how much time they take to create. They are mainly a labor of love for him to express an appreciation for a film genre that he enjoys very much.
Take care…….come what may.

Another Crow Figure At Spencers
Last week, Arykh, a frequent visitor to the ChambeRoom informed everyone about a new Crow figure that Spencers is carrying. We also received this detailed report from a frequent visitor to ABaHB, Kel, who also found the figure. Here are the details:
Spencer gifts has a new limited edition Eric Draven Figure. They are about 15-18 inches tall with real hair, and it plays sound clips from the movie when the mid-section is pressed. It is dressed in the complete outfit (including the black leather trench coat). They are selling for $39.00.
Thanks to Arykh and Kel for the heads up on this item. Sounds like something fans need to go check out!
