STH Switches Days

Fans of the Crow series Stairway To Heaven should know that the SciFi channel has changed the day and time the show is on. It was on Sunday mornings (time depending on your timezone). They have now switched it to Saturday morning. Also, make note that SciFi has a East and West programming schedule, so depending on which one your system carries, you will see it at different times:

SciFi East - Saturday @ 1am (Alaska), 2am (Pacific), 3am (Mountain), 4am (Central), 5am (Eastern) & 11pm (Hawaii)

SciFi West - Saturday @ 2am (Hawaii), 4am (Alaska), 5am (Pacific), 6am (Mountain) & 7am (Central) - there is no Eastern time for the SciFi West version

Take care.....come what may.

The Crow 4 (Wicked Prayer) Continues Moving Forward

Since we just updated you on the FORMER Crow 4 project Lazarus (remember, it is NOT a Crow project), figured it was time for an update on the current Crow movie project. Wicked Prayer continues to move forward. The script is getting a lot of attention and care in making sure it is a solid story before going in front of the cameras. The script is taking a little longer to complete compared to previous Crow movies, but all is proceeding on schedule. The actor/actress being sought for the lead role is still the same and once they are officially signed, word will be put out. So hang tight fans, everything is pushing forward.

Take care.....come what may.

Lazarus Alive and Kicking?

Dark Horizons reports that Tony Bui will write and direct the former Crow movie, quite a change from music video director Joseph Kahn. If this report is true, what we've known about Lazarus so far will be completely changed, as a new script is upcoming. We'll have to wait to find out more, but if you'd like more information on Tony Bui, click here for his Internet Movie Database bio!

Lazarus for WB

Dana Harris' article for Variety 'Bui brings 'Lazarus' to life' shares this interesting information:

"Tony Bui will write and direct "Lazarus" for Warner Bros. Pictures. The supernatural action thriller concerns two friends who become mortal enemies thanks to an ancient Asian curse set in motion after they commit a crime together."

Not exactly the plot, or the company, of the DMX led movie. Now we can safely say that Lazarus is the property of Warner Bros. If you'll cast your mind back, Lazarus was produced for Dimension by Ed Pressman, Jeff Most and FUBU Films, but now Ed Pressman and Jeff Most will also produce Lazarus, with Alessandro Camon as executive producer. The plot of an undead rap artist coming back for vengeance has apparently been scrapped as well in favor of the Asian curse storyline. Lazarus has now made a complete turnaround, which means everything we knew about the DMX movie is history. Stay tuned for more, Crow Fans!

IN-D Films

Those of you that have been with us for some time will have good knowledge of the David Ullman / Matt Jackson film 'James O'Barr's The Crow.' This film is considered to be the most faithful adaptation of James O'Barr's book as well as being a wonderful production on behalf of the filmmakers. Due to legal problems, the film was withdrawn, but you'll find that with the documentary 'Inertia: Re-Making The Crow' new life was given to the project. We here at ABaHB want to give as much respect to this as possible and let you enjoy the fruits of Ullman and Jackson's labor. Upcoming on ABaHB, you'll find some wonderful features based upon 'James O'Barr's The Crow' and around the site, we'll be updating with some new goodies for you all to enjoy in regards to the official films. So, stay tuned, Crow Fans!

The Future

We're still trying to find out what the fate of The Crow will be with Chaos Comics, but while we're working at it, read this excellent article at Comic Book Resources for further information on the matter.

Chaos No More

In sad news reminiscent of 1999 and Kitchen Sink Press, Chaos Comics have filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Comics Brian Pulido has announced that “What we're doing it Chapter 7, which is bankruptcy for liquidation – it's selling all assets. We're done. That's that.” The highly anticipated Lady Death / The Crow crossover was to appear in September, barely a month away. We will have more reports on this as it comes in, but it looks like just when The Crow is about to regain its wings, they are quickly clipped. Read more information here.

Robert Zuckerman Update

Robert Zuckerman recently gave us an update on his sister Patti and his current projects.

Patti is hanging in there, but she is slowly getting weaker. Robert recently hired a personal trainer who is working with Patti and with his mom. They will more than likely have to start utilizing a feeding tube due to Patti not being able to swallow properly. We ask that you please continue to keep Patti, Robert and his mother in your thoughts and prayers. Go over to the Wonderhall site that Robert setup and take a look around. He has added some new pictures of Patti with former President Clinton as well as others. Also remember, his "Cathedral" photo of Brandon is still available for purchasing and all proceeds go toward Patti's care.

Robert reported that the T3 shoot is going well. He is working hard and should be wrapping it up in around a month. This is the first shoot that he has done using digital film and he says it has been "an unexpected surprise". He really loves using it and the quality is great. He says the crew and cast are all really nice and top notch. He singled out Arnold Schwarzenegger and said working with him has been "a rare pleasure". He is bright, considerate and does many good things for people. Robert went on to report some more good news. He will be leaving the T3 shoot a little early to start work on his next project, which will be taking photos for the "Bad Boys 2" movie. Filming has already started, but they are going to have someone fill in for Robert until he gets there a little after Labor Day. This is a testament to how well Robert's work is received, as we all know from his great work on "The Crow" and "COA". The added bonus with working on "Bad Boys 2" is that Robert will be in Miami, closer to his sister.

We thank Robert for his updates and continue to wish his family well and again ask you to keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Take care…..come what may.

Crow Animated Project Update

The animated project continues to move forward. Kevin Eastman and his group are working with others to bring this long in development project to life. We will continue to update everyone as we learn more about this project.
