Furlong Pictures Taken Down & Other Crow Updates
If you didn't get over to Rena Owen's official site and see the pictures of her and Eddie Furlong (in makeup from the set of Wicked Prayer), then you missed out. The photos have been taken down. This comes as no big surprise, but still disappointing given the fact that much higher profile movies such as “Batman Begins” seem to release photos every other day that stay up.
Don't forget about the latest contest with DragonFly and their latest deal for ABaHB visitors . We heard from them recently and have some news to pass on.
DragonFly scored an interview for James O'Barr with Gothic Beauty magazine. The new issue should be hitting stands soon with the interview. Go to their website to check out who and what Gothic Beauty is. DragonFly is in the process of getting a new warehouse center. They will be sending us details soon. The new warehouse will help them deal with the ever growing demand for products. Look for the 12" version of “Dance of the Dead” to be out around August. Finally, they are working on plans to participate in Wizard World Dallas , details to follow.
As always, we continue to hunt down information on Wicked Prayer. We hope last week's script review helped to whet your appetite for the movie. It further collaborates what we posted last year in regard to how well written the script is.

Another Review Of Wicked Prayer Script
We featured the first and only script review for Wicked Prayer last year. Well, now another review of the script has flown through our window! Check out what “Chuck” has to say about the Crow: Wicked Prayer script:
Hey guys got a Wicked Prayer script review for you. I was told this draft was pretty much what they filmed. Let me start off by saying I have read every Crow script except Lazarus. How does Wicked Prayer measure up? Well it doesn't, the other scripts (even the first) don't measure up to it!! It's really that good folks. If you've been following Wicked Prayer at all there is really no need for me to give story details. I'll just say this movie is part western + love story + martial arts= Wicked Prayer. The whole thing has a very dream like quality to it, like you are watching someone's dream or nightmare unfold. Now I will break it down for you even more:
Favorite things for me:
Jimmy is a great character. His love for Lily is all he has and wants. After their deaths his reluctance to kill is stemmed from a past event in his life involving Lily. You really get the feeling since Lily's dead; all he wants is to die so he can be with her. His anger not only stems from their murder but also that he's been delayed his time with Lily. However, once he finally accepts his mission, it is on. He dishes out some serious retribution to all the baddies.
You actually have well developed characters. You see Lily before her death; you see her relationship with Jimmy real-time, not in all flashbacks as in previous Crow films. The baddies actually have an explained back story.
The story has so much black humor that has really been missing from the films. Jimmy and Luc easily have the sharpest lines.
I love the desert setting; it gives the story the whole western vibe, not to mention some characters are referred to as gunslingers sizing each other up.
The film is very brutal. The fight scenes are amazing on the page. The film may have a lot of unseen but implied gore.
Well there you have it. I give the script a lot of credit for being fresh but keeping consistent with the Crow mythos. I have no doubt that Edward Furlong and company can easily pull it off. I can't wait to see this thing in whatever form it's released. Thanks to Chuck for passing this on to us. Now, we just need the film to be released sometime this decade!
Take care…..

DragonFly Contest Reminder
Don't forget about the Return statue contest we have going on with DragonFly. Order a blank Return statue from the DragonFly folks using our special link which will give you a break on buying up to three statues. Paint your statue and take up to three pictures of it and send to us at abahb1@hotmail.com by May 31st (we will accept up to three entries per participant. Make sure the photos for each entry are in different emails). Here are some questions that were asked of us recently in regard to the contest and we figured many of you would have the same ones, so reposting them and the answers here:
Q. Is there a certain interpretation of the Crow we're asked to render? By that I mean, a particular color scheme?
A. No, you can use any color scheme you want. Let your imagination go wild.
Q . Are we allowed to alter the piece in any way?
A. If by "alter" you mean add something physically to the statue, no.
Q . Are we allowed to add a base or a background to the piece prior to photography?
A. Yes, you can use a background or base to display the statue. Must be homemade though, no PhotoShop.
Q . How many photos are sufficient? I imagine a front, back, and two side shots?
A. No more than three photos please. Do not want the email server locking up! Try and keep the photos as condensed as possible in regard to size.
Thanks to Wes for submitting these questions and if you have further questions, contact us at the above email address.

C3 Returns!
Fans of the online comic/story site hosted by the ChambeRoom called C3 should be happy campers. The site is making a return! C3 is where fans, like each of us, take a hold of the creation reigns and came up with online comics/stories that are Crow inspired. With the lack of any official comics, this is a perfect outlet for fans that are hungry for new stories. C3 is being restarted by Acidpet. Click here to see a reprint of a previous story and look for new comics coming. Thanks to Acidpet for the heads up.
