I was writing something about the crow

A crow flew right into my window

It scared my little heart with a big fright

I drove it away with all my heart

Until it kept on coming back again

I eventually got what it meant

As every line would seem to rhyme

I know I wrote not my own mind

I closed my eyes with the pen in my hand

It continued writing with fear I couldn't stand

It wrote my death not that of a crow

An omen was standing right in my window

I saw myself running so fast

I did my best but I just didn't last

It took my life and stole my soul

It was half an angel and half a ghoul

Gently as I opened my eyes T

he crow flew away leaving me horrified

With a sign to show the fate I didn't know

The death that I'm going to face tomorrow
