Fiction by Kevin The darkness and the rain. It may have meant nothing to the living, but to the Skull Cowboy, it only meant that it was time again. The black bird known as the crow cawed in the air and landed right on a tombstone that held Skull Cowboy's attention. "So, this is the one." He said looking at the crow. The crow cawed in reply, and Skull Cowboy nodded. "Let him rise again then." he told the bird. The crow started pecking the top of the tombstone. Lighthing flashed as thunder roared with it in the graveyard of Los Angeles, California. This was it. Seemed more faster than the last one before. It was always easier to resurrect the body when it wasn't burried six feet under yet. Then the ground started shaking. That was new, or was it another California's famous earthquakes. No, no it wasn't. Something was different about this awakening. The lightning started flashing more faster and striked the tomb of the one who would be the next crow. This was very, very different. But nothing really special about it. Then, it all just stopped. The thundering was no more than a whisper, the lightning only flashed in the sky, the rain stopped only leaving a few drops, and the ground stopped shaking...except for the grave. Something tried to pull out into the opening. "Bout damn time." Skull Cowboy sighed. In one swift motion, a fist punched it's way up through the ground. The door of the casket underneath the ground was pushed open by the same hand. A body fell face first onto the ground. It was a young male with blond hair and blue eyes. He was panting hard. They all did that when reawoken. Then, the young man lifted his head up with his eyes closed tightly and let out a painful scream of agony into the sky. And then it collapsed to the ground. Skull Cowboy reached over grabbing the boy by his funeral pants and pushed him up onto the surface. The young man turned onto his back and tried to open his eyes. Weakingly but able, his eyes slowly opened. His vision was blurry for a few seconds, but when it all came clear, the guider was staring right back at him. He gasped as his eyes went wide in fear. "Wh...wh.."he tried to speak. "Hello there. I am called the Skull Cowboy if you're wonderin, Dillan Scott." Skull Cowboy said as he tipped his black hat. The man called Dillan looked confused at the guider. "H-h....how do you know..my name?" Skull Cowboy then pointed to a tombstone, and the young man followed. Dillan Scott Loving Husband June 1, 1979-October 6, 2001 "Oh...my..god." he gasped as he crawled over to the tombstone, running his fingers along his name to see if it was real. It was all real, this was not a dream after all. "You died a year ago, my boy. This is October 6, 2002. The same with her. Don't you remember?" Skull Cowboy asked him. Dillan looked confused at first, until he saw the grave beside him, and the name written on the tombstone. Amanda Trish-Scott Beloved Daughter and Loving Wife December 12, 1979-October 6, 2001 "No..." he whimpered. "No. No no no no no no." Tears streamed down his face as he hugged the tombstone like it was a person. "NO!!" he cried. "Your wife." FLASHBACK Before Dillan now was an image of the girl named Amanda Trish-Scott. His wife, his beloved angel, his true love and soulmate. She was a knockout number 15 on a scale from 1 to 10 with raven dark hair that shined against both the sun and moon light, brown eyes that were the color of chocolate, and rose red lips that he could never resist. She was motioning her finger at him, telling him to come to her as she smiled devilishly. "Come here, you." she teased. End of FLASHBACK "Amanda." he whispered as he laid his head against her tombstone. He slowly looked up at Skull Cowboy. "Was...was that real?" "Of course." Cowboy nodded. "They are memories. You can see them with your eyes whenever you touch something. They can drive you insane, but you can have control over that. Some of these memories will even give fuel to your mission." Skull Cowboy kneeled beside Dillan's body. "Come with me. Follow the crow." The crow landed on Dillan's arm and cawed at him. Dillan just looked at the dark bird like he didn't understand what it was. But when the crow started flying out to the city, Dillan knew exactly what it wanted. It wanted him to go home. Still in his funeral clothes, Dillan slowly followed after the crow. The house before him, it looked familiar. He walked up to the doorway, putting his hand on the side. FLASHBACK "How would you like to live and this place?" he asked her with his hand in hers. Amanda shrugged. "Looks pretty. A good spot in the neighborhood." She smiled and looked up at Dillan. "I like it." "Me too." He looked at the sale sign. "Maybe we should get this house after freshman year." "Yeah." she sighed with a dreamy look. ANOTHER FLASHBACK Two wine glasses tapped together. Amanda and Dillian smiled lovingly at each other. "Here's to our new home, and to us. Well, mostly to your sexy little self." Kevin winked. Amanda took a swig of her wine and grinned. "You are amazing." "No you are." he said back. "No, you are." she said back. After repeating over and over, Dillan got up and started tickling her. Amanda laughed and jumped from her chair, and started running up the stairs. He followed in hot persuit. End of FLASHBACK Dillan staggered forward onto the ground, whimpering. The memories were so painful, in an emotional way. He started crawling over to a broken down coffe' table, and his hand touched it. FLASHBACK "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you. Happy birthday my beautiful angel, happy birthday to you...Amanda Trish." Dillan sang as he walked out with a vanilla cake with white chocolate icing. Her favorite. Amanda gasped and after he placed the cake down on the coffe' table, she wrapped her arms around his neck and gave him a peck on the cheek. Both turned to her birthday cake. "Make a wish, sweetheart." he whispered to her. Amanda only looked lovingly at her boyfriend. "I don't need to wish. Everything I've always wanted has come true." She rested her hand against his cheek. He sighed and pressed her hand closer against him. She leaned onto his lap, him wrapping his arms around her, holding her close to him. "I love you." Amanda whispered to him. He smiled. " I love you too." End of FLASHBACK His hand slid off the table. His eyes started to water, but he didn't cry. The crow than flew upstairs. Dillan stood up and followed. He touched his and Amanda's bedroom door. FLASHBACK "Amanda? Have you seen my notebook anywh...?" Dillan started asking as he walked up to the bedroom door, but Amanda already opened it. She was wearing a blue see-through robe, revealing she was totally naked underneath. It always felt like he was seeing her naked body for the first time. She motioned her finger at him, telling him to come to her. "Come here, you." she teased. He walked over to her and followed her in the bedroom. Drawing could wait. End of FLASHBACK He pushed the door open and fell on the bed. FLASHBACK Kevin threw off his shirt and quickly dropped his pants, Amanda watched him sitting on the edge of their bed. When his face lowered to hers, she cupped his face in her hands and leaned her to him, pressing their lips together and kissing with hungry passion. He pulled away from her and tenderly kissed her neck and shoulde, pulling down the silk robe gently off her. He then leaned forward and traced tender kisses down the back of her neck and down her back. She arced up and moaned. They fell back on the bed with her on top. Both were nude, and barely pulling the covers over them. While they kissed, she pressed his member into her entrance, and they were locked in an old rhythm of making love. They had made love more than once that night, but each time was like Heaven to them both. It was so unreal, it felt so good, and it felt neverending to them both. End of FLASHBACK Dillan squinched the bedsheets in his fists as he started crying. "Oh Amanda...baby." he whimpered. "There's still more." Cowboy said, and in a flash, Dillan found himself in the alley ways of the city. He stopped crying, but his face was wet with tears. He looked around the alley, a bit puzzled by why they were here. Then, it came to him. His hands rested against the concrete ground. FLASHBACK "Hiya doin?" A punk grinned as he creeped out of the shadows along with some of his other friends, two of them women. Dillan put Amanda behind him to protect her from the thugs. "Please, go away. I don't want any trouble." "Give us your money first, then we'll leave." The punk replied, pointing to Amanda's purse. He was about to protest, until Amanda threw the purse to him. Luckily, her wallet was in her pocket. The punk picked up the purse and nodded. "Thank you. You are free to pass now." he smiled, revealing his teeth to be yukky. But he kept his word and stepped to the side. Another one of the punk's friends, was a different story as he stared at Amanda's butt. "Damn, dis bitch is fine!" He looked up at Dillan. "Tell ya what? You leave da gil wit us too." "Fuck you." Dillan spat out as he glared at the punk. "Dillan..." Amanda called his name as she clutched to his arm. She was getting scared. "Look, just let us go. You got our money so we.." BANG!! The punk slammed a pipe across Dillan's back, knocking him to the ground. "DILLAN!!" Amanda cried and reached for her husband, but some of the thugs held her back. The punk and one of his friends picked Dillan back up by his arms. The punk looked at his friend. "Gutter, why don't you show this guy that we are to be appreciated when letting him and his lovely young wife go without harm." The buffed up one he called Gutter grinned, and pulled out a sickle from his side. Amanda saw the curved blade and tried to fight of the thugs. It was no use, they were just too strong. "DILLAN!!" On his knees and being held up by his head, the punk ripped Dillan's shirt off, and slowly Gutter drove the blade across the center of his chest. Dillan groaned in pain, while Amanda screamed and cried at the horror of watching her husband being tortured. The punk smiled up at his comrades. "Old this guy up." He then grinned at Amanda. "I want him to watch our little show before we pop him." "Sure thing, Billy Boy." Gutter replied as he and another thug grabbed a hold of both Dillan's arms. Blood dripped from his chest as he fought to stay awake. Billy Boy walked over to Amanda. FLASHBACK II Amanda cried as Billy Boy thrusted himself in her. PAUSE OF FLASHBACK Dillan slammed his fist into the wall, leaving a dent in the concrete. RETURN TO FLASHBACK "Dillan" she sobbed as she reached out for him. Blood trinkling down from her nose and her bottom lip. Dillan fought to free himself from another pair of thugs while Gutter went to work on Amanda, followed by others. Soon, they all had their way with her. She was broken. He could feel it. She reached her hand out and gasped for his name. They dropped him on the ground. Still weak from his wound, he weakingly crawled over to her, reaching for her hand. Before they could touch, Gutter sent his sickle through Dillan's hand. Dillan screamed in pain, Amanda only cried and screamed his name. PAUSE OF FLASHBACK Dillan began to throw garbage cans around and kicking them. He growled in the air RETURN TO FLASHBACK "Hold him up. It's her turn to watch." Billy Boy smiled as he pulled out a pistol. The girl of Billy Boy's gang made her face where Dillan was being lifted up by Gutter and Spike. Spike laughed like a Hyena. Why hadn't anybody come and helped them?! What had they done to deserve this, Amanda thought. The pistol cocked and Billy Boy aimed his gun right at Dillan's chest. "Any last words?" Dillan sneered at Billy Boy. "Y-You...you are all..fucking dead. You...were dead..the moment you...touched her." Billy Boy shrugged. "I'll take that as a no." BAM!! BAM!! BAM!! BAM!! Billy Boy unloaded the entire pistol into Dillan's body. Amanda screaming through it all. Not dead yet, Dillan gasped and looked over to his wife. "DILLAN!!" she cried louder trying to reach for him again. Then, not able to handle the pain of her body and the scene before her, she passed out. PAUSE OF FLASHBACK Dillan fell on his knees with his arms up, his body arced like he had just been shot. RETURN TO FLASHBACK "Leave them. We got the job done." Billy Boy ordered. Him and his entire gang walked off, leaving the couple for dead. Amanda was still alive, but Dillan was close to death. With his remaining strength, he crawled over to her, and took her hand in his bloody hand and gave it a tight squeeze. "I'll get them, Amanda. They will all pay...for what th..they did to...you." His head fell as his body went limb. Dillan Scott was dead. But his hand never left hers. End of FLASHBACK He was rolled up into a ball, sobbing like a child. "NO MORE!!" he cried. The crow flew to the ground beside him. Slowly as he regained control of his emotions, he looked up to bird and saw a pair of black boots, black leather pants, and a black vest. "You..want me to put them on?" he asked the bird. The crow cawed in reply. Dillan removed his funeral suit and put on the clothes the crow had picked out for him. Something was missing though. "Here." Cowboy said as he tossed him his long leather duster jacket. "A gift for you." Dillan looked down at his hands to see them cut and bruised up badly, only to heal in a instant. He was baffled. "I...I can heal." "You are invincible as long as your crow is alive. If it dies, you will lose your powers until it reawakens and heals its self." Skull Cowboy explained to him. He then held up his boney hand and said, "One more thing." He pointed to a purse on the ground. It was Amber's. Those thugs never took her purse at all. He walked over and picked it up, and pulled out her make-up kit. He dropped the purse and took out some white powder, rubbing it on his entire face. Then, he found Amanda's black eyeliner and traced it on his eyes and his lips. He didn't look in any mirror, he felt he didn't need to. When he was done, he dropped the make-up kit and reached back inside her purse to take out a picture of them together. It was their wedding day. His black lips kissed the picture and he set it into the front pocket of his pants. He stood out from the alley, lighting flashed behind him as thundered roared. The crow was here to set the wrong things right. This night would be the night of the dark avenger, and there was so much hell to pay.
Part
2
Two of Billy Boy's goons were walking down another alley. The crow saw this, and through the eyes of the raven bird so could Dillan. "Your first catch." Cowboy smirked. Dillan smiled evily as he raced up the top of a apartment building with super human speed. These new powers were incredible, but so dark. He leaped on the rooftop and kneeled on the edge like a gargoyle statue, looking at his prey. Smokes was laughing like an idiot while Skinner was taking large swigs of beer. "And so that-that-that girl, man, she w-w-wouldn't stop squirmin' n' stuff, so I had to stab her hands down with nails you know cause I-I-I didn't have any straps or ropes." Smokes stuttured and laughed. Skinner licked his lips, tasting the alcohol on his mouth, and looked over to his partner. "Was the bitch tight?" "Fuck yeah, Skin-man. Sh-sh-sh-she fucking made me cum so-so-so fuckin' hard!" Smokes laughed again, but he paused when feeling his pants were becoming rather uncomfortable. "Oh shit man! J-j-just thinking a-a-about it is makin fuckin' hard." "Shit man, that's disgusting! Go over there and jack your small limping dick off!" Skinner pointed to the corner of the building. Smokes excused himself and rushed over to perform his sick twisted fantasizing. Smokes was a twisted and deranged pervert who had raped over eleven woman, most of them being girls in high school or college. He would usually nail them to walls or tie them up, having them dressed up and dresses to complete his sick needs. Those eleven girls were never seen again. Dillan knew who exactly the eighth girl could've been. Skinner was given his name because he was a skinhead and would skin his victims alive. It was the perfect way to torture others for him. He really liked to play with sharp objects around other people. Tonight would be there last. They would burn at the devil's feet in Hell when he was done with them. Smokes was far too busy, while Skinner was far away, not wanting to hear the moaning from Smokes. He then felt a cold chill go down his spine, the remaining hairs on the back of his neck went up. Something was out here, something very scarey. "Smokes?" Skinner called out, but he turned to see him gone. He was far down in the alley from his friend, all just to get away from him. When he turned back around, Skinner was face to face with the dark avenger, the crow. Dillian grinned. "So we meet again, Skinner." "Who the fuck are you?! Some kind of crossdressing creepy motherfucker?" Skinner laughed. Dillan shook his head. "I want you tell me a story. A story about a beautiful young girl who was still in college with her husband in college too." he said with a dark tone as he walked up to Skinner. Skinner was backing away. "W-who are you? Do I know you?" Dillan stopped. "Maybe this will help. You cut my wife before you raped HER!!" he growled. FLASHBACK Amanda screamed as Skinner cut the knife gently on her palm's top skin. It hurt like hell, but it was nothing when gently cut her inbetween her breasts. "This bitch can bleed. And I'm not talking just out of her pussy." END OF FLASHBACK Dillan's eyes burned with hot fury as he remembered those words. Skinner'rs eyes just went wide with horror. "No, no no way man. We killed you! We killed both of you! There's no coming back! THERE'S NO COMING BACK!!" "Yeah," Dillan whispered, "For you." "SMO-!!" Dillan grabbed Skinner by his neck and lifted him up in the air. "Like I said, you were all dead the moment you touched her! You raping skinhead MOTHER FUCKER!!!" He threw Skinner against the brick wall. There was a sickening thud and a snap. Skinner fell to the ground, still alive but paralyzed. Dillan grinned. This would be easier than he expected. Dillan kicked his broken body over on his back, and sat down on his knee hard that it smashed Skinner's groin. Skinner couldn't cry nor scream. He was far into too much pain. But this was only the beginning. "You like skinning people alive. You tried to skin her. Now, lets see how you like it." Dillan dug his thumbnail into Skinner's chest and began carving something. All Skinner could do was wheeze. Finishing his artwork, Dillan dug his hands deep into Skinner's shoulder, and pulled the cutter's skin up with him using his new strength. With no skin, Skinner began to tremble, and then fall dead. He was skinned alive like his victims. The only piece of flesh left on him was the center of his remaining chest that was carved into a crow. Dillan reached into Skinner's coat pocket for a lighter, and threw the lighter down as it lit up. The entire body burned with it's removed skin Dillan had thrown ontop of the body. "Burn in Hell." Dillan hissed, and walked in the alley to find Smokes. He was already halfway in the alley where Smokes and Skinner were, and there was no sign of Smokes anywhere, until... Next to a building laid Smokes blood-covered body. Dillan rushed over to the sight. Smokes pants were still down, and blood was gushing out along with his insides through a hole where his manhood should be. He wasn't grossed out. He felt good that the rapist got what he deserved, but it just upset him that he wasn't the one to do this. In fact, who could've done this beside him? A skeleton hand grabbed ahold of Dillan's shoulder and spun him. It was Skull Cowboy. "Something's happened. You better hurry to the graveyard." Not waisting any time, Dillan raced off to the graveyard. When he got there, he looked around to find a disturbance. Nothing. Then he turned to where him and Amanda were burried...and his jaw dropped. Amanda's grave was empty like his. |
